Patriots Lose In Waning Seconds 26-21

The Paulding County Patriots took to the road and traveled to Cartersville to play the undefeated Woodland Wildcats last Friday night. The Patriots played well and almost collected their first win of the season and nearly spoiled the Wildcats homecoming plans. However, lady luck was on the side of the Wildcats as they pulled out the victory late after a recovery of an onside kick and they were able to score the go-ahead touchdown with less than a minute to go in the game. The final score was 26-21.
The Patriots take to the road again this week to tangle with more Wildcats again as they travel to face a 3-2 Villa Rica squad.
