East Paulding Raiders baseball team had a very successful week on the diamond. They are currently riding a 5 game winning streak and are currently 5-2 in region play. After a sweep of Woodland the previous week the Raiders stayed hot and swept.
Paulding County Track Championships North Paulding sophomore Kendyl Dunn won the girls pole vault by clearing 10' 2" Norths squad captured both the boys and girls team titles. East Pauldings Jalen Browder edged out South Pauldings Jordan Anderson in the 100 meter in 10.94 seconds.
The Paulding County Lady Patriots traveled north to White Georgia on Tuesday to face the Cass Colonels in a region 7 match. The Patriots remained undefeated in region play at 7-0 by defeating the Colonels 5-2.
South Baseball celebrating a victory over Villa Rica. The Spartans Varsity team is 14-7 for the year, a little over halfway through the season.
The Hiram Hornets and Paulding County Patriots played twice this past week with each team winning at home. The Hornets hosted the Patriots on Wednesday and won 7-1 and then the Patriots returned the favor on Friday besting the Hornets 9-3.
The past week was a good one for the Lady Patriot soccer team as they won a crucial region match against Carrollton to remain undeafeated in region play. The match against Carrollton was a tough one with the Patriots coming out on top 3-1.
The PC pride 10U fast pitch team won the GSA "The bats are warming up" tournament Saturday at legion field in Austell. They played hard all day and scored 9 runs in the top of the 5th.
It was rivalry week for the Paulding County Patriots girls soccer team as they played 3 games in 5 days all against in county foes South, Hiram, and East. When the dust settled Friday night they came out victorious in all 3 matches and improved their record to 11-1 overall and 5-0 in the region alone in first place.
The North Paulding Wolfpack baseball team improved their record to 6-4 on the young season with a victory on the road at Hiram by a score of 9-2 in blustery weather conditions.
Exciting Spring Tennis shows up in South Paulding. The Spartans show they are ready to fight back the cold-weather and usher in spring with some tennis talent. Hannah Brooks, Emma Clarke and Keely Pirtle flex their muscles and speed to Douglas County.
Paulding County high school gets off to a great start. The Patriots faced off against Douglasville and sealed the deal with the 10 nothing victory.
Despite a 28-point performance from sophomore swingman Keith Ray, a career high, the No. 5 seed Golden Eagles fell 98-86 at No. 4 South Georgia State in the quarterfinals of the GCAA tournament Tuesday night.
South Paulding Baseball is excited and ready to play! Returning are 10 starters from last years squad, 8 defensive players and 2 pitchers.
The Golden Eagles are currently 21-9 overall, finishing the regular season with a 9-7 GCAA mark and earning the No. 5 seed in the tourney. The team is set to travel to No. 4 seed South Georgia State.
