The Hiram High School wrestling team will be hosting their first-ever Girls dual meet in the state of Georgia on November 30, 2017. The meet will start at 6pm, at Hiram High School’s Performing Arts Center.
Former football players from Paulding County help lead Kennesaw State Owls to their first ever Conference Championship and first playoff in Just the programs 3rd year of football.

Paulding County High School Patriots and Head Coach Van Spence was presented the revolving “Battle” trophy on November 3rd with a true rivalry battle until the final seconds of the game. East Paulding was driving to score and the clock ran out with them being on the 10-yard line.

The North Paulding offensive line was a key factor in the Pack's win Friday night against Kennesaw Mountain, as they have been throughout the season. The Kennesaw Mountain varsity football team lost Friday's home conference game against North Paulding by a score of 31-28.
The Paulding County Patriots fell to 4-3 in region play as they traveled south to Carrollton and lost to the Trojans on Senior night at Grisham Stadium in front of a large crowd.
The Paulding Patriots improved to 4-4(4-2) on Homecoming with a convincing victory over the visiting Cass Colonels Friday night at Dave Hardin Stadium. The victory sets up the Patriots as controllers of their own destiny. The hopes of the playoffs will come down to the season-ending matchup against East Paulding.
Hiram Wrestling Team unlike others in the state has girls. Last season, we ended the year with five young women on our team and made it our mission to increase our numbers. Recruiting was the job of the returning girls. Presently, we have twenty-four girls on our roster, which I count as a huge success for the Hornet Wrestling Team.
The South Paulding Spartans welcomed the New Manchester Jaguars for the Spartans homecoming and looking for their first win of the year. The Jaguars held strong and denied the Spartans a score till late in the 4th quarter. The Jaguars took home the win 20-6 and held the Spartans to an undefeated season so far.
North Paulding got off to a good start with 17-points on the board, then kept up the pressure to finish with a 24 - 17 victory.
The Hiram Hornets were the only team from the county to advance to the State tournament as North Paulding fell to Camden County and South Paulding lost to Alpharetta. Hiram made quick work of Southwest Dekalb and won the match 3-0 and advanced to the 2nd round where they will travel to Buford.
The East Paulding Raiders contest over Woodline gave them a decisive win 41 to 21. The Raiders racked up 6, missed two extra points and made a 2 point conversion. John Estes passed for 2 TD with Dominic Burnam and Cole Brown receiving. John Estes rushed for 1 TD, Tyrell Robinson rushed for 2 TD and Jhalil Daniels rushed for 1 TD.
Some say football builds character and character is what defines you. If that is the case, East Paulding Raider’s character says they are winners without even looking at the score. The Raiders looked outward beyond the gridiron and made Brantley Dobbs, a 6-year-old young man with DIPG Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma.
