Georgia Highlands College kicked off another academic year by honoring its faculty and staff from each of its campuses for the 2016-2017 academic year at its annual in-service meeting.

Paulding County high school kicked off the JROTC raider season by hosting a scrimmage for all the Army JROTC raider teams in the county. The cadets competed in rope bridge, obstacle course, ammo can relay runs, Cross Country Rescue (CCR), and an obstacle course.
