On May 4, 2017 the West Georgia Young Lawyers’ Association elected new leadership for 2017-2018. The WGYLA was formed on January 5, 2017 by attorneys from Carroll, Douglas, Haralson, Paulding, and Polk Counties.

Charles Brandon Ayers was just taken into custody by Deputies with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office without incident. He was arrested in western Paulding County and gave up peacefully to Deputies.
