Paulding County's Special Olympics Track and Field Event was held at Paulding County High School April 28th. 303 athletes participated in running, throwing and jumping events.

April 14, 2017 PCFB hosted the 2 nd Annual Ag Legislative Forum where city, county, state and national legislative officials and students from all 5 of the Paulding County high schools gathered to go over Farm policy.

Paulding County school bus drivers tested their driving skills Saturday, April 29 during the annual Paulding County School Bus Road-EO. The course included obstacles drivers encounter every day on bus routes.

April 29th Paulding County was the center of attention in the local area with community events. Beginning with the City of Dallas kicking off their 2nd Annual CityFest with a 5K Race for a Cure. Conculding with the City of Dallas' Sara Evans concert at Veterans Memorial Park in front of the new Paulding County courthouse.

Last week Paulding Commissioners authorized the Chairman to enter into a contract with Baldwin paving for the bid amount of $1,435,441.62 for construction of the Bill Carruth Parkway multi-use Trail Project in Post III.

The Sammy McClure Middle School and North Paulding High School underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) robotics teams swept the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) South East Regional Competition in Savannah on April 22nd.

Chattahoochee Technical College representatives and the college’s nominees for Manufacturers of the Year attended the 23 rd Annual Governor’s Award Luncheon, held at the Georgia International Convention Center.

The CTI program at East Paulding High School was declared the 1st Place Overall School during the 2017 CTI State Conference on April 19th through 21st at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia.
