(Paulding County, GA) On Tuesday April 4, 2017 the Haralson-Paulding Drug Task Force, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant and several arrest warrants at Kingdom Kutz Barber Shop which is located at 3601 Macland Road Hiram, GA 30141.

The regular monthly meeting of the Paulding Republican Party will be May 20, 2017, at Mt. Tabor Park at 9:00 a.m. This will be the first meeting under the newly elected leadership. The featured speaker will be Rep. Geoff Duncan from Forsyth County who is running for Lt. Governor of Georgia.

The Paulding County Patriots ladies soccer team was eliminated from the State playoffs in round 2 by a scrappy club from Starr's Mill by a score of 2-0 at Dave Hardin Stadium.

From April 17-28, 2017, the Paulding County Bar Association (PCBA) partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) to host the Legal Food Frenzy, which is a food and fund drive.

East Paulding High School DECA competed at the DECA International Career Development Competition and Conference in Anaheim, CA April 25-30, 2017.

On Friday April 28, 2017 a retirement reception was held in honor of Detective Dianne Hudgins Ellison. Detective Ellison began her career in law enforcement with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office in December of 1987.
