Student Art Competition Winners THANKS to everyone who entered the 30th Annual Student Art Competition!! The Place Winners of the 30th Annual 2017 Paulding Fine Arts Student Art Competition are:

On Thursdays beginning March 9, Home School Children's Mixed Media Class with Margaret Bearden. Ms. Bearden is a certified art teacher and is wonderful with the children.

With spring near, our clocks SPRING FORWARD an hour on March 12. Paulding County UGA Extension and their friends will herald spring’s arrival through a series of countywide events. These events are part of a continuous outreach to the community supported by the University of Georgia Extension and Paulding County.

South Paulding defeated Cambridge High from Milton Georgia 70-49 in the first round of the State playoffs. The Spartans will now host Coffee County in round 2 Thursday.

Interim City Manager Jody Palmer named to the permanent position last week. He has served since November as interim manager. Palmer replaces former city manager Barry Atkison.

Rotary member Chad Plumley introduced our guest, Paulding Superior Court Judge T. David Lyles to warm welcome by fellow Rotarians. Judge Lyles began my thanking the club for the invitation and opportunity to share with members of local community.

Paulding County Cloverleaf 4-H’ers, competed at District Public Achievement (DPA) at Georgia Highlands College in Rome. This year there were 12 counties represented with 560 competitors. Project Achievement is a public speaking competition.

Wednesday, February 15 th the Paulding Ministerial Association sponsored a prayer rally at the Paulding County Government Complex flagpole. Rev. Johnny McBurrows Chairman of the association extends thanks to everyone for their attendance, with special thanks to District Attorney Dick Donovan and Post Commissioners Todd Pownall and Tony Crowe.

Congratulations to 5th grader, Paityn Hunter! She was recognized at the February 14th PCSD Board Meeting for having the character quality of “Fairness”.
