After finishing the regular season with a 20-10 overall record and 5-9 conference mark, the Chattahoochee Tech Lady Golden Eagles are set to host a first-round GCAA tournament game this Tuesday after earning the league’s fourth seed.

Marine Corps Private First Class Christian D. Regueira has graduated from basic military training at Parris Island, South Carolina.

The Golden Eagles men routed East Georgia State 93-66 in their second-to-last regular-season game, getting 24 points apiece from Keith Ray and Jamion Simpson. The Lady Golden Eagles fell 66-58 to East Georgia State but will host a first-round game in the GCAA tournament on Tuesday night.

Tracy Drake knew this time was different. She was accustomed to abnormal mammograms and subsequent biopsies, but her October 2016 biopsy confirmed her suspicion – invasive ductal carcinoma. A breast MRI two days later revealed it was Stage 3.

The Paulding Retired Educators provided Valentine desserts for the residents of the Paulding Nursing and Rehab Center on February 10th. Entertainment was provided by the "Sounds of Lost Mountain."

Paulding County Airport Authority (PCAA) convened last week to start the year with new board members and elected a new chairman to serve the remaining term of retired chairman Calvin Thompson.
