At GreyStone's Annual Meeting on Oct. 8, Ed Garrard will retire after 18 years of service on the co-op's Board of Directors. Garrard represents members in District 9, Cobb County. Garrard is a real estate broker and President of Garrard Realty Inc. since 1962.
The Paulding County Senior night was a great triumph for the class of 2017. On a night set aside to honor the outgoing Senior class the Patriots put their best effort into making the night a smashing success.
Chattahoochee Technical College has rolled out a new diploma program and early registration for the spring semester begins Nov. 4 for new and current students. The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Technology program will be offered at Chattahoochee Technical College’s North Metro Campus in Acworth.
Brianna explained that BB is a 35-year-old parrot and will go on to live until 70 or 80. Many birds like BB will have a very long life, she went on, and most of the time the bird’s living situation will not be consistent over its lifetime, causing problems with the bird’s behavior.
In recognition of Constitution Day, September 17, ESL (English as a Second Language) students at the Cobb-Paulding Adult Education Center in the old courthouse in downtown Dallas are looking through materials on the US Constitution and flags of the US and its fifty states.
Hiram High School CTI (Career and Technical Instruction) student organization elected officers for the 2016-17 school year. The officers are Azavian Joiner, President; Dakota Sherman, Vice President; and Tamra Enright, Secretary.
