Drugs and Guns Seized in Search Warrant, Early August 2, 2016 Academy Sports in Hiram, GA was burglarized. During the burglary, 13 guns were stolen along with other merchandise. Hiram Police Department immediately launched an investigation and began working the case.

East Paulding High School honored the Public Safety officials of Paulding County during a East Paulding Raiders football game. Thanks to sponsorship by Texas roadhouse grill, admission to the game and dinner for the Public Safety Department officials was provided.

Ms. Cupid Brown is a young lady who has loved motorcycles from her youth to her nineties. Ms. Brown, grew up in Alabama on a farm that raised animals and produced a variety of crops including peanuts and cotton. She is the widow of Glen T. Brown, a World War II veteran.
Kennesaw State Owls 49-3 win over Point Skyhawks gave the Owls their first season win in 5/3 stadium. The commanding lead of 28-3 was lead with starting QB, Chandler Burks passed for two TD to Justin Sumpter. Burks 51 yard run in the 2nd quarter gave the Owls their third TD.
Home Depot Foundation’s Operation Facelift team came to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office to beautify our grounds. The volunteers that assisted in the makeover were all employees of the Hiram, GA Home Depot and they all volunteered their time to help improve the landscaping around the Sheriff’s Office.
South Paulding Spartans traveled to Alexander for the 3 rd game of the year. What had hoped to be another upset to follow last years upset, it just wasn’t meant to be. The cougars punished the Spartans with a final score of 69-7.
Guest speaker for the Paulding Rotary Club, Miss Mhairi Dunnett, an exchange student from Edinburgh Scotland, made her presentation for the GSRP program. The students live on campus as they attend school and participate in a cultural exchange with their adoptive host families.
