Food insecurity is an issue on America’s college campuses and the students who attend Chattahoochee Technical College are impacted by this issue as well. This year, the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation and the Office of Student Resources are partnering together to create The Golden Eagle Cabinet, a food pantry for students.
The South Cobb Rotary named Rhonda Reece as its Citizen of the Year at their monthly luncheon on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Rhonda serves as a Vice President at Westside Bank, working out of its Mableton Branch. Rhonda was selected for this honor in recognition of her extensive leadership and continued devotion to her local community.
The Office of Student Resources at Chattahoochee Technical College has worked diligently to provide various resources to students to assist in their success at CTC. College campuses are seeing an increase in student hunger, with 36% of students on U.S. college campuses being considered as “food insecure,” meaning they do not get enough to eat.

Seniors and Ambassadors who earn the Gold Award tackle issues that are dear to them and drive lasting change in their communities and beyond. A typical project takes 1 - 2 years for the girl to complete and respects the skills and talents that Girl Scouts bring to making a difference in world.
Sheriff Gary Gulledge announces the 2019 Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Cops for Kids Christmas shopping event requirements and important dates. Cops for Kids is in its 21st year and takes underprivileged children who live in Paulding County and pairs them with a Deputy to go shopping at Christmas.
