South Paulding falls to Northgate The South Paulding Spartans hosted the Northgate Vikings this past Friday night. The Vikings came into the game with a 3-0 record to Souths 0-3 record.
The Paulding County Senior night was a great triumph for the class of 2017. On a night set aside to honor the outgoing Senior class the Patriots put their best effort into making the night a smashing success.
The Wolfpack was on the road again at Cherokee High School. The game began with both teams quickly trading turnovers with the other. Cherokee scored first but North drove down and got on the board when Ross Malmgren connected from 3 yards out to Chad Terrell. North remains undefeated at 5-0 and will be off next week before starting region play.
The North Paulding Wolfpack traveled to Woodstock High School to battle at the woodshed. The Wolfpack stopped Woodstock on their first drive, forcing them to punt. North began the first of many successful drives.
South Paulding Spartans hosted the Douglas county Tigers on homecoming night. Looking for their first win the Spartan defense played tuff in the first half hoping the offense could come together and get into the end zone.
17th Annual “Battle of Paulding” In Memory of Coach Ken Phillips was played on Friday, September 9 th with HHS hosting PCHS Paulding County High School Patriots was presented the revolving “Battle” trophy on September 9th with a come from behind win.
The Wolfpack marched into the Woodstock’s Wolverines house and rearranged the furniture. Mr. Easton Murphy showed the direction of the evening in the first quarter. The game played into the Wolfpack with the change in momentum and never varied. A 49 – 21 win over the Woodstock team was the reward.
The Kell Longhorns and proved that their #6 ranking is totally justified as they all phases of the game against a good Paulding County team. Kell's defense limited the Patriots to less than a hundred yards of offense.
PATRIOTS BUMP,SET,SPIKE TO VICTORY The Paulding County County Patriots volleyball team improved their record to 6-10 on the season with a match victory over Lithia Springs in straight sets 25-9,25-18,and 25-23.
Wildcats take Raiders 17-7. Luck was not with these Paulding Raiders this time during their game with Villa Rica. Despite best efforts, and a last-minute touchdown by Jody Waddell, East Paulding took a loss to the Villa Rick Wildcats.
In what seems to be a growing trend trend in Paulding County Athletics the Patriot softball team came from behind to defeat the Cass Colonels in Region 7-(5A) action at home. The Patriots now have a secure hold on 4th place in the region with a 6-4 record.
Patriots Explode in OT Win Against Hornets - With just minutes left in the game Friday night, the Hiram Hornets led the Paulding County Patriots by a score of 21-7.
Friday night was the match of the cross town rivals. When North meets East and the game is the game of the week on WSB Channel 2 stuff is going to happen. DJ Shockley was there at the end to hand the trophy over to the Wolfpack with a 22 – 21 win.
Kennesaw State Owls 49-3 win over Point Skyhawks gave the Owls their first season win in 5/3 stadium. The commanding lead of 28-3 was lead with starting QB, Chandler Burks passed for two TD to Justin Sumpter. Burks 51 yard run in the 2nd quarter gave the Owls their third TD.
