October 5, 2017 at approximately 3:22 PM Deputies with the Warrants Division of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office responded to 288 Township Drive Hiram, GA 30141 (Paulding County) to serve an arrest warrant. Initially, Deputies were looking for a female suspect that they had information was staying at the residence. Lelia Sierra Duncan (W/F, 27 YOA) (Wanted for Trafficking Methamphetamine (F), Probation Violation (F), and Obstruction (M) had been at the residence within the past couple of days.

The East Paulding Raiders fell to Kell at the end of a hard-fought game. Kell upset the Raiders with a successful onside kick play in the last minute of the game.
The Paulding County Patriots improved to 2-4 (2-2) as they traveled south to Villa Rica 5-2(3-2) and upset the Wildcats on their homecoming game. The victory was a critical one for the Patriots as they needed a win in order to keep the hopes of a playoff birth within their grasps.

Dallas resident, Fallon Robinson, was crowned Miss Paulding County’s Outstanding Teen 2018 this past Saturday, September 23 rd , 2017. This was the 3 rd Annual Miss Paulding County Pageant, which is part of the Miss America Organization.
Hiram Cares is a program established by Hiram High School to address needs of the community and our Hiram family. This program has given funds to support families impacted by fire, floods, and other disasters. In early September, students from Hiram High School showed that Hiram Cares for Houston in support of those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Paulding’s Board of Commissioners last week tabled a decision regarding Commission Chairman Carmichael’s nomination of Frank Baker to be county administrator. Mr.Baker, familiar to Paulding’s board, currently serves as court administrator and has worked with Paulding’s felony drug court since its inception about two years ago.
