The General William J. Hardee Camp # 1397 Sons of Confederate Veterans of Dallas, Georgia met at the Paulding County Confederate Monument on Saturday, April 29, 2017 on a beautiful spring morning to hold a Confederate Memorial Day Observance Service.

The South Paulding Spartans baseball team fell to John's Creek High in round one of the State playoffs. The Spartan's won game one of the series 1-0 in extra innings.

Students at South Paulding High School have been coming to New Georgia Elementary this year mentoring some of our 4th and 5th graders. The students look forward to their Spartan brothers and sisters coming to “hang-out”.

Avery Ragsdale signed to play baseball at Toccoa Falls College. Avery goes to Hiram High School, class of 2017 and was coached by Coach Marra.

The Paulding County Patriots finished their feeder team season on a strong note. The feeder team played in the Championship game against Hillgrove and came up 1 run short falling to Hillgrove 8-7.
