Downtown Dallas was home once again to the 24th Annual Rotary Invitational Christmas Parade presented by the Paulding County Rotary club. The weather was cool and cloudy but otherwise perfect for the parade. An estimated 11,000 residents showed up to support the parade and all its floats.
The American Legion Riders of Post 111 in Dallas and Pirate Printing in Hiram co-sponsored the 2016 “Back the Badge” Motorcycle Ride and Fundraiser which netted $7,500 for Paulding County Law Enforcement agencies.

During Thanksgiving break, NPHS Fly Fishing and Cold Water Conservation Club members assisted DNR Fisheries with stocking over 1,800 trout into the Chattahoochee River using 5 gallon buckets.
