Michelle Edwards was a single mother living in an apartment with her son and teaching English for a living in Guatemala. She was born and raised in this third largest Central American country in 1974 as the first of three daughters.

Paulding Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Committee hosted a Health Career Expo at Chattahoochee Technical College’s Paulding Campus, located in Dallas. The event brought about 250 high school students to campus, with approximately 50 coming from each of the Paulding high schools to learn about various careers and topics in the health care industry.

At New Life Baptist Church, the Ladies Sunday School Class began a new journey. One of the lady's, Ms. Jean Cone, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2015. Support has grown into a church wide mission for others! Every family is now involved in making these blankets with the hope that 1ives will be touched and hearts warmed as they wrap their loved ones in these "Blankets of Hope".

The Kiwanis Club of Paulding County invite the community to bring food and office supplies for the Georgia’s District “Kiwanis One Day” happening on Saturday, October 29th. The KCofPC members will “Fill the Bus” for the facility in Middle Georgia Food Bank in Macon, GA.
The annual golf tournament provides the Club the ability to invest in our local community. Thanks to our many sponsors and supporters, over the past 47 years the Club has been able to contribute approximately one million dollars to our community.

With a population in excess of 150,000, Paulding County is able to sustain two (2) Rotary Clubs: Dallas Rotary Club AND Rotary Club of Paulding County.
The Dallas Rotary Club is the newer of the clubs. It was established in 2003 and has 17 active members. This club currently has its regular meetings on Thursday mornings at Audrey’s Cafe. Please check Facebook for schedule.
The Paulding County Rotary Club, the first Rotary Club in Paulding County, was chartered in 1969. It has approximately 42 active members and meets regularly.
Although the clubs are different from one another, the common mission is the same – SERVICE TO COMMUNITY. We invite you to visit each club to determine which is the best fit for you. Please see each club on Facebook for current meeting schedule. FOUR WAY TEST: Of all the things we think, say or do…. Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned?
