Georgia Highlands College Paulding and Douglasville locations will be welcoming two new site directors soon. Julia Areh has been selected to be the new site director for the Douglasville site and Joy Hambrick has been selected to be the new site director for the Paulding site.
New Georgia Elementary bids farewell to teachers that will not be returning next year. These wonderful educators are moving on to other schools next school year.
It’s no surprise that Erica Moody had job offers lined up prior to graduating from Kennesaw State University this spring. A University Honors Program student and Coles College of Business Scholar, Moody graduated magna cum laude with a degree in economics.
For Paulding County High School’s Kimberly Hadaway, the blessings are overflowing with full scholarships to 6 of the country’s top colleges: Princeton, Duke, Vanderbilt, Washington and Lee, Amherst, and Williams.
This year’s Wesley Rakestraw Memorial Scholarship was presented by Lindsey Rakestraw to Miss Shawanna Davis. Shawanna will be headed to the University of Georgia in the fall with a major in Computer Science.
