North Paulding students in Mr. Rodney Tumlin’s AP Environmental Science class paddled an eight mile section of the Etowah River. Students were able to identify various sources of point source and non-point source pollution that occur along this stretch of river.

Hiram High School Stinger Battalion JROTC cadets showed stupendous volunteerism at the Red, White and Boom event. Following this event on September 6, 2016 these cadets opened the meeting with a color guard posting our nation’s colors, and then all participating cadets were awarded by Mayor Teresa Philyaw.
East Paulding High School honored the Public Safety officials of Paulding County during a East Paulding Raiders football game. Thanks to sponsorship by Texas roadhouse grill, admission to the game and dinner for the Public Safety Department officials was provided.

South Paulding Spartan’s Pink Out Game is on October 7, 2016 & Kickoff is at 7:30 pm. They will be taking on the Langston Hughes. The Spartan Nation will be raising money for breast cancer awareness. Please come join us to support this cause.
The Paulding County High School’s JROTC Patriot Battalion JLAB Academic Team competed in its first ever trip to the JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl (JLAB) National Championships in Washington DC this summer.

SPHS Cheer Squad served up some barbecue during the inaugural Back the Blue Que on August 20 at the PC Sherriff’s Department. Event to the men and women of the Paulding County Sherriff’s Department.
Public Safety Night at the East Paulding High School football game on 08/19/16. East Paulding will be playing the Harrison Hoyas in a Region matchup between two good football teams. All public safety officials will be recognized at a ceremony during halftime.
