Seth Bice, of Frontier Classic Rodeo Company, producer of the first sanctioned SPRA, IPRA Paulding County Safety Rodeo gathered with sponsors and members of Paulding Public Safety Appreciation to present a $7200 contribution check to benefit safety workers in Paulding County.

Chattahoochee Tech Foundation honored the recipients of 98 different scholarships at its annual scholarship reception held Friday, March 30, on the North Metro Campus in Acworth. Representing a wide variety of programs offered at Chattahoochee Technical College, the 98 students were awarded scholarships amounting to $103,000.
The Paulding County Patriots Baseball Team had been discussing ways to serve the community. One of their themes this year is brotherhood and family. So the coaches decided to ask Greyson Dodd to come out to practice and throw out the first pitch of the game for them. When Greyson came out he taught this team and coaches so much more than they could have imagined.

November of 2016, Jim began to search for ways to actively deal with problems he was facing as a result of his 20 years’ service in the military, both in the Army and Marines. There were physical problems that were being treated by a physician, but what Jim really needed was help dealing with the emotional trauma he had faced in the military. The first meeting of the Paulding Vet Life Community was held in the spring of 2017. Of the first meeting Jim said, “When my first meeting came, I was ready."
