Chattahoochee Technical College’s Marketing Team was recently awarded three Medallion Awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations. The Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications at community and technical colleges in District 2.
The Paulding County Patriots fell to 4-3 in region play as they traveled south to Carrollton and lost to the Trojans on Senior night at Grisham Stadium in front of a large crowd.
The North Paulding offensive line was a key factor in the Pack's win Friday night against Kennesaw Mountain, as they have been throughout the season. The Kennesaw Mountain varsity football team lost Friday's home conference game against North Paulding by a score of 31-28.

Hiram Elementary Hornets participated in our annual Hiram Hustle recently. The students helped raise money for our PTA by using some athletic skill, endurance, and lots of fun.
Carolyn Rowe retires October 31st from teaching over 30 years. She has been an incredible member of the New Georgia family for most of that time! Staff, students and the community will miss her very much!
The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation awarded a grand prize total of $5,000 split five ways during its Reverse Raffle, held Thursday, Oct. 19, at the North Metro Campus in Acworth. This year’s winners were Michelle O’Donnell of Georgia Power, Charity Hill of Vinings Bank, Foundation Board Chair and AT&T External Affairs Regional Director Don Barbour, CTC’s Kelly Eubanks and CTC’s Heather Pence.

Hiram High School played host to 20 Schools from throughout the Atlanta Metro Area and Alabama on Saturday 21 October for their annual JROTC Stinger Battalion Open Raider Challenge. Forty teams competed in five events designed to test cadet’s strength, agility, speed, stamina, endurance, and teamwork.
